    Headlice in School

Recently, cases of head lice have been identified across the school and we wanted to make sure you were kept informed.

Whilst lice are nothing more than a nuisance, it is important that children are checked on a weekly basis so that any head lice can be dealt with quickly and before they are allowed to spread.

As there has been an outbreak, we suggest that you check your child’s head as soon as possible. Attached is some simple advice you may wish to follow to keep head lice outbreaks to a minimum.

Further advice on the treatment of head lice can be found on the NHS website.

    Thank you for your co-operation

NSPCC Number Day04Feb2022

@ In School

On Friday 4th February we will be celebrating the NSPCC's Number Day. Children are invited to dress up in number themed clothes if they would like to. Children can simply wear a sports top with a players number on the back, decorate t-shirts or create sandwich boards or numbered head bands. Number designs could include ideas around dice, dominoes, calculators, rulers, money, clocks or dress as an accountant or maths teacher. Be as creative as you like. While we are not making a charge for this, we would like to raise some money for the NSPCC. What we are asking for is your 10p's. We want to make a long line down our corridor to see how many coins it takes to get all the way through school. There will be a couple of different competitions running through the day but there will also be a prize for the class who collects the most 10p coins so please start collecting now.
