We are sorry to inform you that Mrs Smith is leaving her Year 5 class at half term. She has been with us since the very beginning, starting her career 20 years ago at Oakfields Primary. We are very sad to see her go and she will certainly be missed by the staff and children alike. Mrs Smith has secured a new role at the Virtual School and we wish her every success – we know she’ll be brilliant!

Please do not worry. Miss Mitchell starts with us straight after half term. She has already met the class as they were involved in the interview process. She intends to keep popping in and out of school during the next few weeks to work alongside Mrs Smith, to begin to get to know the children and build relationships, prior to taking over in November.
