Dear Parents / Carers,

We would like to invite you to our first Parent Learning Event of the year. On Wednesday 22nd October we will be going on a walk to Wombwell Woods to look for signs of Autumn, which we will have been learning about in our topic sessions. Please can an adult arrive at school at 12:50pm to accompany your child on the walk, we will be setting off from school at 1pm prompt. Access will be through the gate next to the car park and through the FS1 side gate, we cannot let parents through the Hough Lane entrance during school hours. We will aim to get back to school in time for home time.

It may be wet/muddy in the woods so please wear appropriate clothing, the children will be wearing the wet suits and wellies that we wear to forest schools.

This will be a brilliant opportunity for you or a family member to take part in learning with your child and build those home-school links! Younger siblings are also welcome but please consider the terrain we will be walking in.
