Dear Parents / Carers,

We are really excited about our sponsored litter pick at Wombwell Park this Wednesday (21st) and we will be leaving school at 12:50pm prompt. Please be aware that the Hough Lane gate will be closed so entrance for all adults will be via the car park side of school, please arrive in good time!

We have been in touch with the Wombwell Park association and the Barnsley Community Team and they are sending a delegation to come and help us tidy up our local community. We will be taking photos to upload to Tapestry throughout our litter picking experience and the local area team may wish to use some of them for their social media platforms. If you do not want your child to be included in the photos sent over to them please let a member of staff know as soon as possible.

We will be collecting any sponsorship money in until the 6th June so don’t worry about bringing it in this week. Please remember that any donation of any amount is greatly received and appreciated and will go towards improving our outdoor resources.
