Many moons ago, a group of our children won a ‘Design a Tree House’ competition. Unfortunately, the organiser let us down and the prize promised never materialised due to a funding issue.  Precision Timber who originally intended building the tree house came to the rescue and continued to work with the school and the children who won the prize to design something which would be more practical and have more use.  With the help of them slashing the price and the Friends of Kings Oak emptying their account, the outdoor shelter has been installed today!

Charley, Eliana, Finley, Riley and Tamzin – our designers – have watched the installation today and have even had a part in building it. They will be opening the shelter on Wednesday and then it will be used for various activities by all the children in school.  Congratulations again to them and for making us very proud of all their hard work.

We want to look after this shelter which is only to be used under the supervision of staff. It is not an area to be used to congregate before and after school - Thank you.
