Family Reading is to take place on Wednesday mornings starting on 18th January.  We encourage as many parents, carers and grandparents to come in to school to enjoy a book with the children for the first 20 minutes of the day/session (8.40-9.00am for most families).  Please come along to read to your little one and their friends – it could be a story book, a quiz, some poetry or a magazine.  Every week, we will put the children’s names are into a hat and a prize of a book and chocolates can be won. If you have more than one child, simply pick a classroom and take all the children along together.

Don’t worry if you’re a parent who works on Wednesday morning, as at the end of each term we will do a special prize draw for all the children who read regularly with parents at home and who fill in their reading records.
