Priority Bubble Update
25 June 2020 (by Joanne Swift (j.swift))
We want to update you on our position regarding the Priority Bubbles we have been running in school ever since the official closure of schools back in March.
As you know, we have continuously supported our key worker and vulnerable families even through the Easter and half term holidays. This will finish at the end of the summer term - on Friday 17th July. We will not be open to any children during the six week holiday, and this includes the children who have previously been prioritised. We, like the majority of schools up and down the country, have made this decision in good conscious as we were happy to play our part a the time of national crisis but that situation is now passed, many restrictions have now been lifted and the country is trying to return to something that resembles normality.
In the last couple of weeks the requests for key worker places for children has increased and some days we are running pretty much at full capacity. Therefore we must stress the importance of letting us know with as much notice as possible any dates up to 17th July that you would like your children to attend. They must be booked in by the latest Wednesday for the following week or we may not have a place for them. We also ask that you only send them on the days that you need to and if your situation changes and if there are some days you have booked in that you don't need, that you notify us that you are withdrawing them from certain sessions to release a place for another child.
Thank you in anticipation of your understanding.
