White Rose Maths - 01.06.20

Happy Monday, we hope that you have enjoyed the half term break. In preparation for the 8th of June, Mrs Wain and I will be venturing into school next week . As we are going to be in school, the level of home school resources will reduce, however, we will be posting links to resources and an overview of what we are covering in class. Once again the White Rose website is a fantastic tool. If you click on this link ➼ https://resources.whiterosemaths.com/resources/year-1/

you will be able to navigate your way through the Year 1 areas of learning. If you click on the image below you will find this week's learning.

Thank you,

Mr Smith, Mrs Wain, Mrs Parkinson

Phonics - 01.06.20

As highlighted in the above text, Mrs Wain and I are in school next week. As a result, there will be no additional phonics videos (at this moment). Please click on the image below to find a link to all our  previous phonics videos. Recapping the sounds is a fantastic way to ensure that your child's learning is fully embedded.

Miss Siddall and Mrs Woodruff have also made some set 2 sound videos. Please click on the image below to discover their fantastic phonics videos.

Continuing learning

Please click on the file below to view the set 2 and set 3 sounds. I have taught these in a slightly different order, however, for this week I would suggest that you focus on the 'ai' and 'oa' digraphs.  I have attached several resources for you to work through at your own pace. If you have not completed activities from the previous weeks please return to these tasks.
